This is where I fell in the beginning! I read High Times and was intrigued with the Cannabis Cup from the 1st one! When they later opened it to the public I thought I had died and went to heaven!

NOW I HAVE A PURPOSE, I remember thinking, I TOO can be a JUDGE and JUDGE the WORLDS BEST GANJA and HASH!!
I dreamt about the cup for a long time, before I ever got off my ass and went!
But I remember with a mixture of sadness and longing what it was like from the 1st day reading about it through buying my judges pass and boarding the KLM for Amsterdam!!

Good Morning, Good News
Well, as I smoke my 1st spliff of the day, this morning some Serious White Russian, (you remember white russian right? Its Serious Seeds cross of White Widow and AK-47.)
Well, this morning as Ms. Nobody and I do the morning ritual of WABAEAR (wake and bake and eat and read) we got a little bit of good news!
Buried in Newsday (I didn't see it in the Daily News, although I was just skimming) in the Nation/World Briefs was this little bit of good news......

Smoking Ban Goes to Pot

A new ban on smoking in public places in the Netherlands seems to have inadvertently struck at the heart of the country's popular marijuana-smoking establishments as well.

Under broad national health guidelines due to take effect officially in January, Dutch coffee shops would be allowed to continue selling joints, but customers would have to go outside to smoke them.

The law to ban smoking in public places has met fierce resistance from eating and drinking establishments. So the industry - as well as coffee shops that sell marijuana - has been granted an extension until January 2005.

So we get a FULL YEAR! I didn't understand why the Dutch were trying to exempt coffeeshops from the extension, but Im glad to hear that they relented!

Now if we can just STOP this CDA coalition!
